St Michael & All angels, Kingsnorth
St Michael & All Angels
Church, viewed from the west, showing the new church room and offices on
the north side. This is located on the site of a former chapel. The
construction is rendered blockwork and clay tiles. In spite of a modern
construction, the effect is complementary, and fits well with the original
ragstone of the mediaeval building. At the time of the addition of the north extension, the nave and chancel were re-ordered, and glass doors added to separate the tower and nave. |
